Alicia Katz Pollock
Alicia Katz Pollock, MAT, MOS, designed her first database when she was 13 years old, on an Apple IIe for her father's dental office teeth-cleaning mailings.
Decades later she is a member of the Apple Consultants Network. She is also a Microsoft Office Specialist with a Microsoft Accredited Instructor Certification. She even teaches PCs at Heald College (that makes her bilingual!).
Her goal as a computer instructor is that students of all levels learn something practical for their homes and offices, and see a return on their investment in computer training. When the customer brings their projects to the tutorial, we work together to design the finished product. She lets the customer “drive” the mouse, explaining what to do and guiding them in doing it. In that way, customers learn and their work gets done!
